   Teaching at the Lake County Art Center

    It is easier than ever for professional artists to teach, and use the facilities the Center provides for classes and workshops.
    The Center operates as an artist co-op as of 2008.  Accepted teachers use our simple web-based calendar to update their
    own schedules for classes, workshops, and shows.  The Center works with the teacher to market classes in both print ad,
    press releases, through our mailing list, and on the web site.

    If you have a passion to teach your specialty, please call the Center today.  Lake County has some of the most talented artists in Florida, and the community is eager to meet and learn for you!

    Step 2
    Contact the Center and make an appointment to speak with the Center director, Jan Swanke.

    Step 3
    Meet with us and discuss goals, and classes, and we will work with you to create the best fit for both you and the Center.

   Want to sell your work in the Center gallery?

    It is easier than ever for professional artists to display and sell ther work a the Lake County Art Center.
    The Center gallery is now in high-demand as it is one of very few original Lake County artist original galleries. 
    To assist our most interesting, diverse and talented local artists, we meet with each person individually.
    Here is how to get your work included in our gallery:

    Step 1
    Please compile your portfolio, your resume, and any other experiencial information you may have. 

    Step 2
    Contact the Center and make an appointment to speak with the Center director, Jan Swanke.

    Step 3
    Meet with our director and gallery manager and and we will work with you to create the best fit for both you and the Center.


    The Gallery offers 60 square-feet of display space for $30 per month.  The is a 12' high panel x 5' wide, or vice versa. 
    Depending on the size of your work, this space can dislay many of your fine pieces.  We also offer 3-D artists 15 cubic feet for the same price.
    We offer different packages if you need more space, so during your meeting we will match you up with the best solution.

   Want to rent the Center for a workshop or an event?

    Each stuido can hold 15 students.  Facilities include:
    Tables
    Chairs
    TV / DVD
    Easels
    Refrigerator
    Microwave
        more...

    Each studio is available for rent at $15 per hour.  Both studios may be rented together for $55 per hour.   Storage is also availble.

    For events, our newly remodelled studio space magically transform into an atmospheric and terrific place to have parties, workshops, art shows, family gatherings, receptions or your special idea.
    The Center has a lovely garden, dining seating, sound systems, and much more.  Event pricing is based on the day of the event.  Please contact the center for prices and to book the facilities.
