Some exciting growth and change is coming to the Art Center this spring!
The gallery is now operated by our partner The Village Frame Shop's own Peggy Ernest. Drop in to see the Frame Shop's exciting new gifts and special framing offers for Art Center clients! GALLERY HOURS! The Frame Shop & Center gallery is now open Tuesday - Friday from 12 - 5:30 and Saturdays from 10 - 2 and closed Sunday and Monday.
ALL CLASSES WILL BE IN FULL SWING IN THE BACK STUDIOS. TEACHERS WILL ADMIT STUDENTS VIA THE SIDE GATE THROUGH THE GARDEN GOING FORWARD. Please contact your teacher directly to insure that your class is being held. Teacher numbers are in the calendar within the class listing.
Don't forget to visit the City of Minneola City Hall for Rico Maschino's art display through June15th.
May 10th our event goddess Yvonne Feavearyear presented two new artists, Wilt Nelson and Karen Ninas-Hunt for our new fantastic show FANTA SEA. It was a great success and and we all enjoyed Ivis' new TIA CHIPS!

We are pleased to once again offer ArtVenture Club this summer beginning in June. We welcome back Pat Percy, Kathie Camara, Iris Jimenez, Jeff Barrett and others who will be hosting our summer programs. ArtVenture Club classes are for people 8 years old and up and are semi-private classes with no more than 10 participants. Don't miss out - space is limited. Please call the Center and leave a message to register, and one of our lovely staff will call you back. ArtVenture Club schedules are now on the calendar.
As you know, I have been shufflin' off to Buffalo for the past few weeks, so all my classes are now on Fridays. I will be back full-time in the Center beginning in June. We apologize for the inconvenience of not having the gallery open consistently the past few weeks - our volunteer staff has been terrific during this time. Thanks to you all!
Can't wait to see all of our littlest artists in our summer progams!

The Lake County Art Center is located at 202 Hwy 27, on the boundary between Clermont and Minneola, FL. We are just one block north of Washington Street on the west side of Hwy 27.
